"Forest an ecosystem dominated by trees is probably the most inter-related plant community to mankind. As 'forest' the word has been derived from Latin language (for meaning outside), so it must have included all uncultivated and uninhabited land. Today a forest is any land managed for the for the diverse purpose of forestry, whether covered with trees, shrubs or other form of vegetation."
Why Do We Need Forest ?
In the present world due to different human activities and after the industrial revolution our earth's natural environment is in declining stage, in some parts of the world the eco system has been fully destroyed and has become very difficult to revive its condition. So the increasing pollution is mainly effecting the atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases i.e. it has been increased which is greatly accounted for 'Global Warming'. Due to increase concentration of greenhouse gases mainly Carbon dioxide have been increased nearly by 30%, Methane concentration have been than doubled, and Nitrous oxide concentration have risen by about 15%in the troposphere level, due to this the lower atmosphere is being overheated as these gases absorb and rap the heat emitted by earth surface, consequently helping in the increase of global temperature.

Thus, the major step towards reducing the greenhouse gases and controlling its effect is massive forestation world wide so our earth's bare lands need lots of green Forests to save the environment of the earth. And we strongly belie that this project of growing FOREST of ours which we are going to do in our bare hills and plains of our country Nepal is a part of it. In this way our Nepal will be contributing something on fighting pollution to save our mother's earth natural environment and its natural beauty.
